We're not from Galveston and had to have a noise in our Jeep diagnosed. Had it towed here based on reviews. Used the towing company they recommended. They also did a great job. They were very kind and helpful. Noise was diagnosed after taking care of a variety of other little noises. Turns out its the transfer case and has to go to a transmission shop on a flatbed. We were charged nothing!

After experiencing some unexpected car trouble when disembarking from a cruise, we were able to drive straight to Galveston Automotive to trouble-shoot. The mechanics and staff were EXTREMELY kind and helpful. They accurately assessed the problem and gave us a fair estimate. They allowed us to use their waiting room, restrooms, etc. while making decisions about next steps. If the part needed for the repair had been readily available, we would have been very comfortable allowing them to service our vehicle. I highly recommend this establishment. We will not hesitate to use their services in the future if we have a need when we visit Galveston.

I had the tie rods on 2009 F150 replaced in August at a shop in Tomball and was told I needed shocks and struts too. Brought my truck in to Galveston Automotive today, told Gerald I needed new shocks and struts and a few other issues I needed to address with an older truck. They checked my truck out, shocks and struts are fine, they don’t need to be replaced. They absolutely could have gone along with what that other shop told me and made a few $$. Honestly and integrity goes along way with me! As long as I’m in Galveston, this is the only place I’ll bring my truck!
