Great experience at Braxton Automotive on Howell Mill Rd. I had an appointment for an oil change and they took my car early. I was grateful because I just got off work and I live an hour away. I was traveling to Johnson City TN when the check engine light came on. Jason searched qualified shops for me over the phone and then consulted once the TN shop had a repair plan. It all worked out perfectly. The root cause code was cylinder misfire. We replaced all the spark pugs and coils, and cleaned the fuel injectors (things coming due on my 2017 Discovery soon).

I just had another traumatizing car failure and I went to Braxton without an appointment! They looked at my car right away no questions! The people there are ALWAYS friendly courteous and extremely helpful! I have so trust and respect for these guys that I know when I pick up my vehicle the work is done and done right. Michea is awesome! People often forget the front desk intake person but she's the reason things go as smoothly as they do. Effective and friendly customer service. They were able to service my Volkswagen same day after my engine light came on, identifying and fixing the problem promptly. They also provide full transparency into the results of the diagnostic tests run and costs to fix so you can decide what work you do or don’t want done. Potentially on the slightly higher end for cost, but still felt reasonable and in my opinion worth it for the customer service and expertise in European vehicles.

After receiving a sky high estimate from my BMW dealer I called Braxton on the recommendation of a neighbor.. They were fabulous , through and saved me from purchasing a new tire that the dealer had recommended. I actually first called another repair shop far from me( thanks siri) and when I told them I’d meant to call Braxton they said “ oh, i know those guys. They are great and They’ll treat you right.
