My truck had metal to metal on the back brakes, call talk to Bruce and made a appointment for Monday morning drop it and technician look at it ,let me know and had it done when I got off ready to go . I think I have a new place for my truck (she was happy) I will definitely be going back!!!!!!

My check engine light came on and my engine was misfiring. It got pretty bad. I took it to different shop in town, asked them to do an oil change and told them about the check engine light. Turns out, I needed a spark plug. Without telling me how much it would cost, the other shop did a diagnostic test ($160) and charged $80 for an oil change (partially synthetic). They wanted me to pay them $239 for ONE plug and another $200 to put one plug on. There’s a four pack online for $90 dollars. They also told me my tires were in need of being changed (they have about 6,000 miles on them) and my brakes were ALL “grinding metal”. The invoice for all the work that was needed came up to over a grand.
I begrudgingly paid for the oil change and the NOT agreed on $160 dollar diagnostic test and told them to touch grass.
But these guys … they got me in the next morning. Didn’t charge me at all for a diagnosis. Told me I had at least 25% pad left on my brakes and 70% on my drums (the truth) and charged me about $90 for 4 plugs and put all 4 of them in for a reasonable price. I don’t have much money but I try to make sure honest people get it.. I had a five star experience and I very highly recommend these guys. I’ll be taking both my cars to them for everything in the future.

Went in with a tire issue, tire pressure going low in left rear driver side. They found the problem was oxidation on the rear wheel The tire was mounted to. They got the oxidation off Place the tire back on aired it up and I was on my way. I like the way that later on I got a full report with pictures of my vehicle to look over even though it was just a tire problem.

Got a good price on an oil change and the technician saw that the tires 🛞 were wearing. I figured another 65,000 miles would probably finish me off anyway. Glad I bought them!

Had a great experience with this auto repair shop. Customer service was top notch. They helped me find my parts, set up a time that worked with my work schedule, and didn't take that long to fix my exhaust. I was thinking an all day job, only took them 2 hours. 10 out of 10 I would recommend Main Street Auto for all your services needs. I stopped into Main Street Auto after a long drive from Texas to Sewanee, my daughter’s university. We noticed a bulge in a rather new tire and found Main Street. We met Bruce and he took care of us! Found us a reasonably priced tire, and replaced the damaged one. He said he would be happy to help my daughter with any car issues she may have in the future. We don’t know this area of Tennessee well and he made us feel very comfortable and taken care of!
