2011
Our Story
Main Street Auto, formerly McCormick’s Automotive, was founded and built by Tracy McCormick with help from his amazingly supportive wife Cindy McCormick and customers of Heard, Carroll, Troup, Randolph and Coweta counties. Main Street Auto actually started at the personal shop of tracy’s homestead on Frolona Road long before the current building on Franklin Parkway was established in 2011. The passion and vision that Tracy built this shop on stemmed from seeing the lives of his friends, their families and even their neighbors prosper while helping keep their vehicles, equipment and sometimes even their dreams running. Although today he is no longer a part of the day to day operations here, every team member here operates on that very same passion.
Throughout the years of working here on and off again, I've always enjoyed working at Mccormicks. I can remember back in 2014 when the economy was tough and we weren't seeing as many customers, Tracy would take care of us like family and make sure our families were fed. Even with new ownership now, I can say that we still feel that and that is what we are trying to give every customer that comes in here.
