Our Story
Bagwell Mathis Automotive was founded in 1947 by Myron Bagwell and William Mathis, two cousins who shared a deep bond forged during their service in WWII. Deployed together to the Philippines, they weathered the trials of war side by side. Upon returning home, they channeled their camaraderie into a new venture, establishing Bagwell & Mathis Service Station on June 26, 1947.
From its humble beginnings in their hometown, Bagwell Mathis has grown into a trusted fixture in Forsyth County and its surrounding areas.
